Liverpool will play three pre-season games in USA

Liverpool have announced they will play three games in the USA in July as part of their 2019/20 pre-season preparations.

The first game will see Liverpool play Borussia Dortmund at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana on Friday, July 19.

The second leg of the trip will be at Fenway Park, home of the John Henry owned Boston Red Sox on July 21 when Liverpool will play Sevilla.

The final stop on the tour will be Yankee Stadium in New York on July 24th when Sporting Lisbon will be the opponents.

Liverpool managing director Billy Hogan said:

"Pre-season tour is an important time of the year for our first team to prepare for the upcoming season, while also providing the opportunity to bring the first team to our fans around the world.

"We're heading to three incredible locations this year. Each of the stadiums has their own deep-rooted heritage similar to our own and we'll face three great opposition teams in Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting CP.
