MLS side Orlando City have signed ex-Manchester United winger Nani on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old has joined on a three-year deal from Sporting Lisbon as one of Orlando's Designated Players.

"This is an exciting day for our organization," said Orlando City SC EVP of Soccer Operations Luiz Muzzi. "Nani brings tremendous experience to our roster.

"He is a dynamic winger with quality abilities to move and cross the ball, impact games and lead the offensive play."

Nani, who has been capped 112 times by Portugal, was brought to Old Trafford by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2007 and helped United win four Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup and two League Cups before leaving for Fenerbahce in 2015.
