Eden Hazard might be some people’s pick for World Player of the Year, but according to someone who should know, he’s not even the best finisher in his own family.

Thorgan Hazard, in impressive form for Borussia Monchengladbach, says their kid brother Kylian takes that honour.

"He's quick and he can dribble and has the best shot of the three of us," Thorgan says about Kylian. "He just needs to keep working hard and listen to the coach, but he's definitely improving."

Kylian is one of many Chelsea players on loan across Europe, and in recent weeks he's been making a name for himself at Cercle Brugge, currently ninth in the Belgian Pro League.

Some in the Belgian media are tipping the 23-year-old for an international call-up, which would make him the third Hazard to play for Belgium.

"We are waiting for him with open arms," says Thorgan, who has clearly discussed the prospect with Eden.

"We don't want to put pressure on him. He's playing well for his club so you never know.

First there was Eden, then there was Thorgan, but could their younger brother Kylian Hazard be the best of the bunch?

Kylian is enjoying a new lease of life in Brugge, and he says Chelsea are keeping an eye on his progress as he enters the final months of his current contract.

"They send me messages about my performances, telling me what was good and what was not so good," he revealed.

"I will stay here until the summer and then see what happens."

Thorgan, meanwhile, is preparing for Belgium's Nations League games against Iceland and Switzerland and comes into the international break in top form.

He's scored four goals in his last five games, helping Monchengladbach, who he joined from Chelsea three years ago, into second in the Bundesliga.

"When you score or make an assist every week people talk about you. But I am staying calm," he says. "It's good because it means I have the chance to play more minutes for my country."

A country captained by his big brother. Eden sat out training on Monday after a bruising, physical encounter against Everton, but he's not injured.

Thorgan has told the Belgian media he thinks Eden has made the right decision to stay at Chelsea this season amid strong speculation over a move to Real Madrid.

"I know him and he's not thinking about a move right now. In any case Real Madrid are in transition.

Thierry Henry has been backed to turn Monaco around, despite his terrible start to life as a manager, by Belgium international Hans Vanaken

"He'll wait and give his best, then see what happens at the end of the season.

"He doesn't want to clash with Chelsea. If he does go one day he'll do it in the correct way, without problems for the club."

So for the Hazard siblings, it's all calm and positive right now.

"At the moment there's a lot of talk about the Hazard family," Thorgan added. "I am happy for Kylian and Eden and I are in good shape."

But that may not be all. There's a fourth Hazard brother in the pipeline.

Fifteen-year-old Ethan Hazard currently plays for his local team, AFC Tubize, and Chelsea, it's reported, are monitoring him.
